Overview:
This role will be a key contributor to the Marketplace Partner Payments Financial Operations team with a primary focus on Payments Compliance as well as more general payment related activities.
In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to understand the seller journey, how data is data collected and managed for the purpose of tracking and controlling seller compliance and mitigating the exposure resulting from non-compliance and fraud.
Specific areas of focus include:
• How sellers provide and change their tax and payment information
• Ensuring that the data is properly formed and verified
• Managing data sharing across teams and our payment processors
• Ensuring data integrity and adhering to data privacy guidelines
• Data analysis and reporting
• Process automation and complex system integrations
• Implementing internal and regulatory mandates in a user centric context where clarity and consistency of the user experience are leveraged to maximize adoption and minimize seller friction/attrition
• Interface design and user interaction flows
• Understanding and resolving operational issues in coordination with support teams
• Ability to develop user support documentation to be used by support teams
• General payments, accounting and finance concepts
