Strong problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills help in interpreting data and conveying insights to stakeholders. These abilities are crucial for turning complex data into actionable business decisions and driving organizational success.

Professionals in Python Analytics roles often encounter challenges such as handling large and complex datasets, ensuring data quality, and communicating insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders. To prepare, it's beneficial to strengthen your skills in data cleaning, visualization libraries (like Matplotlib or Seaborn), and learn best practices for writing efficient, reproducible code. Collaborating closely with data engineers, business analysts, and decision-makers is also a key part of the job, so developing strong communication and teamwork abilities will help you succeed.

What is a Python Analytics professional?

A Python Analytics professional is someone who uses the Python programming language to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data in order to help organizations make data-driven decisions. They often work with large datasets, perform statistical analyses, create data visualizations, and build predictive models. These professionals may work in industries such as finance, healthcare, marketing, or technology, and typically use libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib. Their work helps businesses gain insights, optimize processes, and solve complex problems through data.

Job description

About Frec
Our mission is to help create enduring wealth. To do this, we don't promise shortcuts or magic strategies. We respect the realities of investing as it actually works, and challenge the long-standing assumption that returns and taxes belong in separate conversations. By building tax-aware investment tools once reserved for the ultra-wealthy, Frec empowers investors to hold onto more of what they earn.
In the last year, Frec has been growing exponentially - 50% QoQ growth with over $1B+ in customer assets. We raised our Series A with Greylock Partners and have an impressive list of other funds and angel investors backing our company. If you're looking to join a fast-growing team with high potential, Frec could be the place for you. Learn more about Frec as a company at www.frec.com.
About the role
We're hiring a Growth PM to help fuel Frec's next stage of growth by increasing qualified top-of-funnel demand and improving the path from achieving awareness of Frec to a funded account. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
This is an early-career PM track for an exceptional builder who wants to grow into a product-minded growth leader. You'll start by working on real customer acquisition problems: how to reach high-intent investors, how to turn attention into qualified leads, how to explain complex investing products clearly, and how to build repeatable growth systems that scale.
You'll work across channels, landing pages, referral loops, creator partnerships, paid communities, employer programs, and other growth surfaces to reach more high intent, high-net-worth investors.
You should be analytical, creative, scrappy and deeply curious about the product. You do not need years of formal PM experience, but you do need evidence that you can learn quickly, build from zero, communicate clearly, and take ownership without waiting for perfect instructions.
Frec is a high-trust fintech product. Growth here requires strong product understanding, clear communication, thoughtful education and disciplined experimentation.
You'll partner closely with the Head of Growth, and work cross functionally with the founder, marketing, design, sales, compliance and engineering. This is a high-learning and high ownership role for someone who wants to build the foundation for a PM or growth leadership career.
What you will do
  • Own acquisition-focused growth initiatives across channels and growth surfaces, including referral programs, paid search, influencers, communities, brand activations and other high-intent acquisition channels
  • Identify new channels through customer insights and channel research
  • Build and improve acquisitions assets such as landing pages, referral flows, and ad angles
  • Analyze performance across the full funnel, including traffic, leads, qualified leads, approved accounts, funded accounts, CAC, payback period, AUM, and customer quality

What you bring
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Exception analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and a strong bias toward action
  • Strong written communication and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
  • A genuine interest in investing, wealth management, and consumer finance.
  • High ownership and comfort operating in an early-stage startup environment where priorities move quickly and results matter
  • Comfort using AI tools to increase speed and quality across research, analysis, creative work, reporting and execution

Nice to have
  • Internship, project, or work experience in growth, product, or fintech
  • Evidence of building, launching, growing or meaningfully contributing to something from zero such an app, side business, community, campus organization, investment club, etc.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, analytics tools, Figma, CMS tools, and CRMs

What we offer
  • Competitive compensation
  • Equity grant
  • Fully paid health and dental insurance
  • 401k
  • Monthly allowance to help with maintaining a healthy body and mind, including fitness and mental health
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Friendly office environment with catered lunch every day
