Job description

OVERVIEW: We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions in support of mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in AI/ML architecture and solution design, extensive Python experience, and the ability to work in a secure, classified environment. GENERAL DUTIES: Design and architect scalable AI/ML solutions from concept through deployment Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for real-world applications Translate mission and business requirements into technical AI/ML architectures Build and maintain production-grade ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model training, validation, and deployment Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and stakeholders to integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing systems Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and recommend solutions aligned with system and mission needs Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements within a classified environment Document system designs, models, and technical approaches for both technical and non-technical audiences REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical field 7+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or closely related roles Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML development Demonstrated experience in designing and architecting AI/ML solutions , not just model development Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data structures Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree or PhD in a relevant technical field Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices Experience working in government, defense, or intelligence environments Knowledge of cloud or hybrid AI/ML architectures CLEARANCE: Top Secret minimum
