Job Description

AI Talent Now Job #ZR 92

We are a Series A robotics startup rethinking industrial automation with smarter robots, a radically better software stack, and a business model built for speed. Our core platform enables AI-powered robots-as-a-service with zero custom engineering and minimal deployment friction. That means we can drop into customer facilities at 10x lower cost and with 10x more flexibility than legacy players.

We are an AI robotics startup building the tech that lets robots work alongside people in real factories and warehouses — backed by $40M+ from top investors and founded by MIT alumni.

They're deploying VLA-powered robots into real customer facilities right now — not a research lab. Your work ships and you see it in the wild.

This Full Stack role sits in R&D in Watertown MA (on-site) — you'll own XR control interfaces and cloud infrastructure for robot fleets. Comp ranges $90K–$190K with competitive equity.

Company Overview

  • Operates in the robotics space, focusing on hardware and software engineering.
  • The company is structured into verticals for specialized areas like robotics and mechanical engineering.

Role Requirements: Robotics Perception Engineer

  • Focus on working with sensors, lidars, and cameras rather than computer vision models.
  • Responsible for processing sensor data accurately for model integration and data storage.
  • Must have experience with hardware-software integration involving robotic hardware.
  • Nice-to-haves include familiarity with RGBD cameras, LiDARs, and SLAM systems.

Compensation and Logistics

  • Role is onsite in Watertown, MA, five days a week.
  • Salary range is $125,000 to $200,000 with competitive equity options.

Timeline and Urgency

  • Immediate focus on hiring to allow team leads to delegate responsibilities and focus on other tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Prefer candidates with startup experience who have exposure to both hardware and software integration.
  • Looking for generalists who can handle a range of tasks and have a keen interest in robotics.

Role Requirements: XR Applications Engineer

  • Developing VR applications for robot control, improving user perception and robot task performance.
  • High-impact role requiring performance optimization of existing applications.
