Job Description

Primary Purpose:
We are looking for a Show Technician to join our Atlantis Show team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for safe technical operations; ability to operate, maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment used in technical production, to include; robotics, hydraulics, steam and boiler operation, water and fire effects, lighting and sound; ability to evaluate equipment needs; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and strong customer service skills.


Principal Responsibilities:
Assists with Show operations, to include maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment
Assists with installation of all technical and mechanical elements
Promptly reports to supervisors when supplies and/or hardware are needed or if a tool is becom-

ing unusable or unsafe
Keeps supervisors informed of progress and asks for help when needed
Maintains excellent communication to facilitate the organization's continuing functionality
Performs the essential job functions safely, successfully, and consistently with, OSHA and other

federal, state, and local standards, including COVID related health and safety protocol for perform-

ing arts venues, hazards, and safety practices
Maintenance and minor repair activities including interior and exterior areas of the property

including, but not limited, controls, pneumatics, structural elements, including lighting controls

and fixtures, plumbing, electrical, pyro and steam
Routinely inspect facility, identify potential issues, and alert supervisor of needed repairs
Assist other departmental staff, with when needed such as A/V equipment and IT resolutions
Daily cleaning/sanitizing of equipment and facilities
May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have technical experience with live entertainment events
Able to work at heights from Genie lifts, ladders, and scaffolding
Able to Obtain Fire and Combustion Certifications
Familiar with Steam Systems and valves
Must have the ability to operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor

repairs and maintain cleanliness of the property
Basic understanding of computer systems and safety systems
Must be able to work from technical drawings
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs if required
Able to be punctual and stay on schedule
Able to work on a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays when

required

3D Modeling software experience a plus

The salary range for this position is $21.83 - $33.65 per hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon various factors, including an individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
