Maintenance Technician
Location: Houston, TX

Position Overview
Maintenance Techs are responsible for ensuring all machines are operating accurately and safely and maintain PM’s for the Plant.
Key Responsibilities
  • Have good understanding of relay and PLC stage and ladder logic.
  • Be able to read and understand wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Be able to troubleshoot and wire control voltage circuits.
  • Have ability to use multi-meter to check ohms, volts, amps, and continuity.
  • Must be familiar with electrical components and their purpose, such as limit switches, proximity switches, contactors, transformers, heaters, etc.
  • Ensure all assigned equipment such as pumps, heaters, heat controllers, water level controllers, and extruders operate safely and efficiently.
  • Order parts to replenish stock and order parts for special projects.

  • Ability to be flexible with working hours, weekends may be required
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 2 years of Maintenance experience in a Manufacturing setting
  • Forklift experience (preferred)
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Assistance is required for anything over 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders, walk long distances, stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, push and pull heavy objects
  • Ability to climb heights and ladders up to 20 feet high
  • Maybe required to reach or grip with arms and hands
  • Work in uncontrolled environments hot and cold
