Purpose- SC is excited for a great future and truly making a difference. We are looking for a new Program Manager to help with our vision:

Purpose-SC is hiring Full Time Program Manager to provide assistance to our program located in Summerville, SC.

Purpose-SC provides meaningful and rewarding employment opportunities supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide residential, educational, and recreational programs to support and improve the lives of those we serve in a caring and compassionate team environment.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provide direct supervision to the Lead Direct Support Professional and other support staff within the location.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership in the program, including advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to achieve the goals of the organization.
  • Provide fiscal management of the program including responsibility for implementing, maintaining, and evaluating budgets, analyzing budget variances and developing explanation and/or corrective action plans.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with County and State regulatory bodies, community organizations and relevant industry partners.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and state regulatory requirements are implemented and adhered to at the program level.
  • Motivate, lead, and mentor a high-performance team.
  • Recruit and retain required staff with strong emphasis on employee engagement.
  • Manage hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, promotion, and corrective action in collaboration with HR to all staff within the residential department.
  • Ensure compliance with team member training requirements.
  • Cooperate with any regulator agency staff in an inspection, inquiry, or investigation.
  • Execute the company's strategic plan and mission, vision, and values.
  • Facilitate routine staff meetings and trainings as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree is required in Human Services or Business Operations or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years progressive management experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities and/or healthcare operations
