As a Purchasing Manager, you will oversee the procurement of POS terminals, payment devices, and networking equipment-managing approximately $5 million in annual purchases. Responsibilities - Oversee end-to-end procurement of hardware and installation materials for POS and Merchant Services deployments. - Manage annual equipment purchases totaling up to $5 million, including POS terminals, payment devices, peripherals, and networking equipment. - Negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective, timely acquisition of goods and services. - Maintain optimal inventory levels to support installations, field service operations, and customer onboarding. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Implementation, Finance, and Technical Support teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectives. - Drive supply chain continuity, cost control, and vendor relationship management. Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within technology hardware, POS systems, telecommunications, or payments sectors. - Proven track record managing annual procurement budgets of $500,000 or more. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly across teams. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills - Experience with procurement for POS hardware or within the payments industry. - Background managing procurement budgets of $3 million or more. - Knowledge of payment terminals, EMV devices, receipt printers, barcode scanners, and networking equipment. - APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP) or equivalent supply chain credential. - Experience supporting field installation or technical service operations.
