Purchasing Manager
Please note that this job is 100% onsite in Denver, CO.
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to fill their open Purchasing Manager job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $110,000 and $140,000 annually. You will also be eligible for this company's competitive benefits package (details below).
Responsibilities:
-Supervising the purchasing and supply chain team
-Developing and implementing new processes and procedures to increase departmental efficiency
-Sourcing, vetting, and negotiating with suppliers to align with strategic sourcing initiatives
-Evaluating supplier KPIs
-Working with other departments to forecast purchasing needs
-Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as vendor and customer contracts
-All other related tasks as required
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
-At least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry
-Proficiency with MRP software such as NetSuite, Sage, etc.
-Relevant professional certifications such as APICS, CPSM, etc. preferred
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent organizational skills
-Excellent analytical skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent negotiation skills
Compensation:
-Annual salary between $110,000 and $140,000
