Addison Group is partnering with a respected construction company to identify a detail-oriented Procurement Administrator. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The Procurement Administrator provides administrative support for the purchasing function by assisting with vendor communications, processing purchase orders, maintaining procurement documentation, and helping ensure materials and supplies are available to support project timelines. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing, product availability, and delivery updates.
  • Monitor order status and follow up to help ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, vendor information, and procurement documentation.
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation by comparing purchase orders, receipts, and vendor invoices.
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding purchasing requests and order updates.
  • Help resolve purchasing discrepancies, shipping issues, or vendor-related concerns.
  • Support inventory and material tracking as needed.
  • Generate purchasing reports and assist with administrative projects within the procurement department.
  • Perform other administrative duties to support daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, administrative support, or a related office role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
