We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing vendor relationships, negotiating deals, tracking pricing trends, and coordinating purchase schedules in line with production schedules. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects by effectively communicating with project managers and foremen. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and contributing to cost reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee the company's vendor relationships, ensuring that all suppliers meet our stringent quality and delivery standards.
  2. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  3. Track and forecast pricing trends and their impact on future activities.
  4. Coordinate purchase schedules to align with production schedules, ensuring that materials are available when needed.
  5. Communicate effectively with project managers and foremen to understand their needs and ensure they are met.
  6. Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring that all orders are delivered on time and within budget.
  7. Monitor supplier performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  8. Contribute to the development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
  9. Oversee the procurement process, ensuring that all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
  10. Prepare and manage RFQs, evaluating proposals and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

Qualifications:
