API Heat Transfer is looking for people who enjoy being part of a winning team! We are poised for breakout growth and looking to add new skillsets enabling us to meet our customers needs today and tomorrow. 
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing API procurement processes. This is a critical position accountable for driving continuous improvement throughout, sourcing, planning and delivery world class results in key metrics, including, On-Time Delivery, Fill Rates, Inventory Turns, Slow Moving & Obsolete Inventory and multiple other metrics related to inventory performance within the customer fulfillment function.
The position is responsible for SIOP, Sourcing, Vendor Management, Logistics, Procurement,  Inventory Control and material productivity savings
Responsibilities:
·         Provide strategic insight by identifying and implementing processes that improve lead-times, costs, cash flow/inventory and service by continuously monitoring and analyzing the flow of goods.
·         Lead sourcing activities to onboard and validate new vendors locally and from around the world. 
·         Work closely with Engineering for quoting new products to ensure lead time and material availability 
·         Identify and manage current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
·         Implement methods, practices and techniques to ensure the most economical movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels while meeting customer delivery requirements.
·         Analyze data and prepare consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal supply chain execution. Special focus on total cost of acquisition optimization.
·         Plan, recommend, justify, and manage annual operating budgets and financial targets in accordance with known operational needs, strategies, and plant objectives.
·         Manage material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES – PROFICIENCY REQUIRED
·        10+ years of experience in full scope supply chain leadership required.
·         Proficient knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and equipment to the design and production of various goods/services.
·         5+ years of managing direct reports and large-scale operations preferred.
·         Experience creating and delivering an integrated supply chain strategies.
·         Experience in Mexico and China is a plus
·         Experience with low volume high mix, engineered to order environment preferred.
·         Proficiency with ERP systems, PLEX preferred.
·         Great negotiation skills 
Education:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain management, Engineering, or similar required 
·         Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or related professional certification in purchasing or supply chain management preferred.
