Purchasing amp; Logistics Specialist
Ligonier Ministries is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Purchasing amp; Logistics Specialist to join our Logistics team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of resources that support our global ministry effortsโ€”from eCommerce and events to donor communications and organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute purchasing operations across inventory, events, giveaways, and organizational needs
  • Create, maintain, and route purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Analyze product data to establish effective reorder points and improve inventory decisions
  • Partner with internal teams and third-party warehouses to ensure seamless inventory flow
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms and resolving issues efficiently
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through data insights and process improvements
  • Maintain a comprehensive vendor database, ensuring visibility into pricing, discounts, and logistics
  • Support departmental financial processes, including credit card reconciliation and purchasing documentation
  • Provide cross-functional support, including backup coverage for inventory and EDI processes

This position is for a non-profit Christian organization located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 hourly. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
