Buyer/Expeditor – Job Summary


Bilingualism is mandatory.

We are seeking a Buyer/Expeditor to manage purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and material availability to support uninterrupted operations. The role is focused on purchasing transactions, expediting, delivery tracking, supplier communication, and maintaining accurate ERP data.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and release purchase orders and obtain supplier confirmations.
  • Monitor supplier commitments, deliveries, and past-due orders.
  • Keep ERP information accurate, including dates, quantities, pricing, and commitments.
  • Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
  • Escalate material shortages and supplier issues.
  • Support RFQs and sourcing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with approved suppliers, contracts, and pricing.


Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and French – mandatory.
  • High School Diploma required; DEC/Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, customer service, or supply chain.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and managing large amounts of data.


Nice to Have:

  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Oracle ERP experience.
  • APICS/ASCM, PMAC, or equivalent procurement certification.
