The Inventory and Purchasing Administrator will accurately and efficiently enter data into company software systems to track inventory, production, and material requirements. This role requires exceptional typing skills, proficiency with data entry tools and office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel), and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be proficient in English and thrive in a fast-paced, open office or manufacturing environment.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Utilize computer systems to compile and maintain accurate records of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked, including quantity, type, and value. This involves conducting physical counts of inventory and updating inventory records with the verified totals.
§ Maintain optimal stock levels to meet production demands, demonstrating a thorough understanding of material lead times.
§ Ensure the accuracy of product inventory for clients.
§ Communicate effectively with the Operations team regarding current stock status and potential order fulfillment challenges.
§ Conduct daily analyses to proactively identify and forecast potential inventory issues.
§ Generate reports on inventory activities and variances.
§ Inspect newly received inventory to confirm its readiness for shipping or delivery.
