About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Coordinator to help manage inventory, materials, and day-to-day warehouse operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material movement, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the right materials are available when needed.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with inventory systems and spreadsheets, and able to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are properly tracked
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Receive, inspect, and organize inventory shipments
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Track inventory usage and identify shortages, excess inventory, or potential issues
  • Coordinate material availability for projects and field teams
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure materials are properly labeled and accounted for
  • Enter and update inventory information in company systems and spreadsheets
  • Prepare inventory reports and provide updates to management
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure materials are ordered and available when needed
  • Assist with purchase orders, receiving documentation, and material tracking
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and work to resolve issues
  • Help establish and maintain inventory control procedures
  • Ensure inventory is handled, stored, and documented properly
  • Support general warehouse and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials coordination, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Comfortable working with inventory management systems, spreadsheets, and computer software
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to accurately track large quantities of materials and equipment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Experience with inventory counts, receiving, and reconciliation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, electrical, controls, construction, or a similar environment
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management software
  • Familiarity with purchasing and procurement processes
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus
