Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Production Manager for our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, detail-oriented, and motivated leader with a knack for optimizing production processes and leading teams to achieve manufacturing objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to spearhead production operations, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety. Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing facility’s daily operations, ensuring production targets are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize your expertise in production reporting, Sage, Punch Press, MIG welding, and rubber to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, quality control, and engineering to streamline operations and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and control production costs, implementing cost-saving strategies where possible.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role.
  • Proficient in production reporting, Sage, Punch Press, MIG welding, and rubber.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and manufacturing management software.
