Our Drivers are working drivers. When not operating a CDL vehicle, the role of the CDL Technician is to work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew to ensure successful inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sewer and storm water pipes.
Responsibilities:
  • Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material, etc.)
  • Equipment driving and operation.
  • Entry into manhole and underground structures.
  • Pump watch and operation.

Qualifications/Skills required:
  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle, preferably a Vac Truck.
  • Tanker endorsement required or willing to obtain.
  • Must also have the ability and/or willingness to learn and operate other company equipment.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and meet background requirements.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.
  • Ability to enter confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in various weather conditions.
  • Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
Salary Range
  • $22.00- $26.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
