Job description

Are you experienced in mechanical assembly, auto mechanics, or small engines?

If you’re looking for a way to use your hands-on technical experience in a new and exciting direction, we want to meet you! We are seeking skilled professionals in the manufacturing and mechanical trades to join our team in Lenox, MA.

 About the Role

The Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. In this role, you will assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot, and repair equipment used in the pulp and paper industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, hands‑on mechanical work, and working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and disassemble mechanical or electrical equipment according to specifications

  • Perform repairs and adjustments on industrial components

  • Interpret and follow mechanical blueprints

  • Use basic machining and inspection tools to verify accuracy and quality (verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.)

  • Apply basic shop mathematics during daily work

  • Support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

 Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints

  • Basic knowledge of shop math

  • Ability to use standard machinist inspection tools

  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
