As the IT Project Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering a wide range of technology projects across our organization! Projects will include upgrades to our ERP, software development and launches, enterprise application rollouts, and end-user tech improvements, as well as other assigned work. The IT Project Manager will have close collaboration amongst Derse to remain aligned with business objectives. This role is in-office at our Corporate office in Milwaukee, WI. IT Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage IT projects from initiation through completion; developing detailed timelines, project plans, and resource allocations.
  • Define project scope and deliverables, while coordinating cross functionally with a variety of internal and external teams.
  • Provide clear and consistent tracking of progress and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Maintain proper documentation of plans, timelines, and all other pre/post-implementation considerations and reviews.
  • Collaborate with external developers and vendors to ensure projects are successfully delivered within scope and schedule.
  • Manage ERP upgrade projects, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring changes are tested, documented, and deployed.
  • Oversee all internal or vendor-led software development and application projects.
  • In tandem with internal teams, manage software deployments, enterprise app rollouts, and system implementations.
  • Have responsibility of end-user technology projects and deployments, coordinating with help desk team when applicable.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies when working through any projects life cycle, managing issues and change requests within.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders for all assigned or owned projects.
  • Facilitate meetings regarding decision-making discussions, as well as project updates and review regularly with IT leadership and other various involved teams.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively, and proactively, collaborate with various internal leaders for success of projects.
  • Promote project management best practices and continuous improvement within IT department.

Requirements
IT Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or 5+ yrs related experience; or equivalent combination of both required. PMP Certification, or other similar project management certifications preferred.
  • Prior experience managing ERP projects or enterprise business systems, networking or infrastructure projects, and end-user software development required.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher or other report writing tools preferred.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required as business dictates. Travel considered moderate to low.
  • Highly organized, flexible and ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
