The Display Products is responsible for designing displays for both commercial and military avionics. The successful candidate will lead and manage Display projects to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance commitments, working closely with the Display Design and Technology groups consisting of both Hardware, Systems and Software Engineers. He/she is the single point of contact for engineering responsible for the technical leadership and project management of design & development activities, within the guidelines set by the VSL/Program Manager and Customer. Experience related to the design and development of avionics displays is desired; engineering design experience and Earned Value management experience is strongly desired. This person will also lead customer business related activities including bids, proposals, and customer technical presentations.
What You Will Do:
  • Lead and manage display product development programs, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and technical performance goals.
  • Provide technical and project management leadership across hardware, systems, and software engineering teams.
  • Act as the single point of contact for engineering, ensuring technical execution aligns with program and customer expectations.
  • Drive program planning and execution, including pursuit, bidding, risk management, and customer technical presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with Rockwell Collins Consistent Engineering Processes and avionics regulatory/certification requirements (e.g., TSO, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178B/C).
  • Stay current on AMLCD and emerging display technologies, ensuring Collins Aerospace remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Balance system performance and affordability, delivering high-value solutions to customers.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels, from individual contributors to executive leadership.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
