Public Tax Manager
Who: A CPA-certified tax professional with at least five years of public accounting experience and a minimum of two years in a managerial role.
What: Manages complex tax compliance for partnerships and other pass-through entities, identifies tax planning opportunities, oversees workflows and deliverables, leads staff development, and serves as the primary client contact.
When: Full-time hybrid role available immediately.

Position Overview:
The Tax Manager will support the South Florida market by managing tax compliance and planning across industries such as manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and high-net-worth individuals. This role includes reviewing complex partnership returns, identifying tax issues and planning opportunities, leading tax staff and seniors, and building strong client relationships. Ideal candidates thrive in a dynamic environment and deliver exceptional client service while overseeing all aspects of engagement execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review complex partnership tax engagements.
- Address tax compliance and planning needs for clients across multiple industries, including high-net-worth individuals.
- Serve as the main client point of contact, ensuring timely delivery of work and strong communication.
- Identify tax and business issues and recommend strategic planning opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff and seniors in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred).
- Active CPA license required.
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with at least 2 years in management.
- Strong knowledge of pass-through entity structures and general corporate taxation.
- Understanding of partnership taxation, partnership equity investments, S-Corporation tax returns, and individual taxation.
- Strong understanding of client businesses and industries.
