This role will be performed remotely, allowing for flexible work arrangements that cater to both the counselor’s needs and the clients they serve. • Implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis, to facilitate positive behavioral changes among clients.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions that address a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges faced by clients in the community.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and supportive counseling to individuals experiencing acute distress, ensuring effective management and guidance.
• Design and lead psycho-educational workshops, including parenting classes and life skills sessions, tailored to the community’s needs.
• Maintain thorough and accurate client case documentation, including progress notes and statistical data, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally, to ensure clear reporting and cohesive collaboration with other healthcare providers.

This position will cater to a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing a wide array of mental health challenges. Our focus is on providing culturally competent care that resonates with our clients' unique backgrounds and varying experiences within the Anaheim community.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Active licensure as either LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
• A maximum of three years of relevant experience in clinical mental health practice.
• Possess strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple case files effectively while adhering to deadlines.
• Self-motivated with an initiative to take actionable steps in documenting sessions and billing hours accordingly.

• Experience with psychological assessments and diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling tools.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or public health initiatives.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
