As part of our Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of Centreville, Virginia, you will work within a collaborative and supportive environment. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools and technologies, enabling therapists to provide high-quality care. You will be expected to operate onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective treatment strategies.

• Direct and administer personalized physical therapy treatments, focusing on patient empowerment and mobility restoration in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Evaluate patients' functional capabilities using diagnostic procedures and assessments specific to muscle, nerve, joint, and movement performance.
• Lead physical therapy assistants in the execution of treatment plans, ensuring consistency and adherence to care protocols.
• Provide in-depth evaluations of the home environment to recommend modifications that promote greater independence for clients.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, motivational techniques, and functional activities that help reduce pain and improve muscle function.
• Administer manual therapies, including traction and massage, along with physical agent modalities as dictated by treatment requirements.
• Participate actively in developing and reviewing care plans, adapting approaches based on clinical observations and interdisciplinary team feedback.
• Document all patient care activities meticulously, including evaluations, progress notes, and clinical records, aligning with our compliance standards.
• Educate patients and their families about physical therapy routines, device usage, and home exercise programs to enhance their therapy engagement.
• Continuously monitor and communicate changes in patients’ conditions to referring physicians and case managers, ensuring timely adjustments to treatment plans.

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients ranging from post-operative care to long-term rehabilitation, adapting your approach to their unique needs and progress.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Virginia, maintaining good standing.
• Valid CPR certification and a driver's license with appropriate automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective patient and family interactions.
• A commitment to clinical excellence and a proactive approach to patient advocacy.

• At least one year of experience in an acute care or home care setting, enhancing your ability to adapt treatments to varying environments.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and regulatory guidelines governing physical therapy practices.
• A background in working collaboratively as part of interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
