Job description
Located in the fastest-growing region of the state, the University of North Georgia is a multi-campus university with an enrollment of over 20,000 students, making it one of the largest institutions in the University System of Georgia. UNG is focused on a mission of educational excellence, leadership development and community engagement opportunities that develop students into leaders for a diverse and global society. Through a variety of educational pathways that provide access and range from certificates and associate degrees to a professional doctoral program, UNG is responsive to regional education and economic development needs. Federally designated as a senior military college, one of the university's signature leadership programs is its 800-member Corps of Cadets on UNG's Dahlonega Campus.
Job Summary
The Department of Psychological Science at the University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a full-time Limited Term faculty position (with benefits) for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Teaching responsibilities will be on the Dahlonega campus. Successful applicants will be able to teach courses in Introductory Psychology, Lifespan Development, as well as upper-division level courses in their area of expertise.

Responsibilities
- Teaching 15 hours per semester (undergraduate), including a combination of Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Development, as well as upper-level courses in area(s) of specialization.
- Holding office hours and attending department meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in psychology or a related field with at least 18 hours of graduate level psychology courses at the time of appointment is required; a Ph.D. or other related terminal degree and college teaching experience are preferred.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.
