Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a travel/contract position in Jeffersonville, IN. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.
Position Details:
Position Name: Travel Registered Nurse Psychiatric
Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana
Specialty: Psychiatric
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: Range $2016 to $2052 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s
Shifts available: Nights
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 p - 7.30 a
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, three shifts per week;Mon-Fri set schedule rotating every two weeks
Position Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
  • Recent/Current Inpatient Acute PsychiatricNursing or Behavioral health experience: 2 years - Required
  • Recent/Current experience andcomfortable working with Children and Adult patient populations - Required
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
  • ASN or an equivalent - Required
  • BSN or an equivalent - Highlypreferred
  • RN License for State of IN orCompact- Required
  • CPI Certification- Preferred
  • BLS Certification from AHA orAmerican Red Cross - Required
Job Description:
  • Provide all aspects of Psychiatric nursing care in the assigned units.
  • Coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Provide care within Adult and Children Inpatient units, may float to other units if required
  • Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs and Develop and implement nursing care plans
  • Admissions, Patient monitoring and charting
  • Collaborate with other medical staff for patient care planning and administration
