Psychologists, often referred to as 'psychs', are professionals who study mental processes and human behavior by observing, interpreting, and recording how people relate to one another and their environments. They use their expertise to help individuals cope with life issues and mental health problems through assessment, diagnosis, and therapy. Psychologists can work in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, private practices, and research institutions. Their work may also involve conducting scientific studies, developing treatment plans, and advising on best practices for mental wellness.
