Job Summary
Hands On Health Associates, LLC is an outpatient Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Treatment program located in Brooklyn, NY looking for a full-time Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Limited Permit) who will provide mental health and substance abuse services to clients to enhance their recovery.  In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. If you are an experienced therapist passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, we want to hear from you!  

Responsibilities 
  • Perform intake assessments
  • Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
  • Create individualized treatment plans for each client
  • Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
  • Perform regular patient outreach
  • Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Qualifications
  • LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, MHC-LP or MSW-LP (Required)
  • 1+ years experience in OMH/OASAS environment (Required)
  • Familiarity with both Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment (Strongly Preferred)
  • EHR documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized
