Job Summary
As an experienced Investment Analyst within the Private and Public Credit team at Texas PSF Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in researching markets and analyzing fund investment opportunities in addition to providing support for modeling co-investments. This role involves applying advanced financial analysis, market research, and investment modeling to real-world decisions, while collaborating closely with team members to deliver strategic insights and achieve portfolio objectives.
You'll conduct macro-level research, assist with due diligence, and contribute to investment recommendations and monitoring activities. We're seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional with two years of experience in investment banking, finance, consulting, or investments, who is ready to take ownership of complex projects and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic, credit-focused investment team.
What You'll Do
Investment Due Diligence & Portfolio Support

  • Support due diligence processes by compiling research, maintaining deal flow tracking, and drafting internal materials
  • Monitor and assess existing portfolio investments including performance and risk/exposures
  • Evaluate new credit investments, including manager and co-investments, alongside more senior investment personnel
  • Assist senior investment personnel with portfolio management and program administration
Market & Investment Research
  • Scan public and private markets for emerging trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Conduct macro and microeconomic research to support investment decisions
Financial Analysis & Modeling
  • Assist with financial analysis of investment opportunities, including manager analysis and co-investment modeling
  • Create portfolio analysis reports that assess liquidity, risk, and underlying credit fundamentals
Operations & Administrative Support
  • Provide general support to the team on a day-to-day basis
  • Maintain thorough records for both public and private credit strategies
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years in investment banking, finance, consulting or investing
  • Strong financial modeling and excel skills
  • Strong understanding of credit metrics and capital structures
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg or PitchBook or Power BI or Tableau
Preferred but not required
  • Progress toward CFA, CAIA, or equivalent finance certifications
  • PowerPoint and Presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and market dynamics
  • Awareness of economic indicators and market trends
Travel/Schedule Requirements
  • Domestic up to 10%.
  • Hybrid office/telework schedule.
  • Ability to work/travel outside of normal business hours.
