PURPOSE/SUMMARY:

As a Project Manager for ISAT Total Support, you will lead the Project Management Group while providing comprehensive technical support across multiple projects. You will be the key point of contact for all technical aspects, ensuring project quality, supporting field operations, and driving the successful delivery of large-scale projects. Your primary focus will be Pipe Stress Analysis (PSA) projects, but you have the opportunity to manage a variety of scopes of work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary Technical Contact: Be the self-directed technical point of contact for all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Project Tracking: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and timely delivery of all work.
  • Primary Contact: Serving as the central point of contact for all project-specific matters, including client field team interactions.
  • Project Deliverables: Overseeing all project deliverables from LOI/PO issuance to project completion, managing customer expectations.
  • Quote Generation: Collaborate with sales and branch PMs to develop scope of work forms and quotations for services.
  • Code Knowledge: Apply advanced understanding of building codes (IBC, ASME, ASCE) to assist project teams with their tasks.
  • Product Knowledge: Manage multiple projects involving ISAT products, creating solutions and documenting new applications.
  • Large-Scale Project Support: Provide support for large-scale projects outside your local market when needed.
  • Ingenuity and Innovation: Show self-motivation, resourcefulness, and the ability to develop custom submittals and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate in various formats (transmittals, follow-up emails, etc.), ensuring all project communications are documented in project folders.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of what products/parts could be utilized on projects and be able to apply the ISAT line of supported products.
  • Work with Sales team to identify and capture change orders when scope creep occurs.
  • Identify opportunities within existing ISAT clients and projects, and work with Sales team to capture sales opportunities and relationships that affect the generation of billing dollars.
  • Process Improvement: Assisting in the development and improvement of technical support procedures and systems.
  • Custom Engineering: Quality control on custom engineering packages and understanding various technical aspects.
  • Scope Control and Change Orders: Identifying and preventing scope creep, and capturing opportunities for change orders.
  • Project Setup: Efficiently setting up project tasks in our billing software and maintaining organized project files.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Pipe Stress design or related industry.
  • Expertise in interpreting building codes and technical procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with managers, clients, and customers.
  • Knowledge of key codes: ASCE, ASME, IBC.
  • Ability to develop custom submittals and solutions not covered by manuals.
  • Background check required for employment.
