Job Description

Lead a Growing Team. Drive Operational Excellence.

U.S. Bank is seeking a Custody Operations Manager to lead our Class Actions and Proxy, team within Asset Servicing. This role oversees approximately 12 employees across Milwaukee, WI and St. Paul, MN and provides the opportunity to influence critical operational processes, lead through transformation, and develop high-performing teams.

This is an ideal opportunity for a proven leader with experience in securities operations, asset servicing, custody operations, or related financial services environments who is passionate about driving results, managing risk, and leading teams through change.

What You'll Do

- Lead Class Actions, Domestic and Global Proxy, and income-related operations.

- Manage and develop a team across multiple locations.

- Partner with vendors, business partners, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional client service.

- Oversee escalations, operational risk management, and regulatory compliance.

- Drive process improvements, workflow enhancements, and strategic initiatives.

- Support testing, system changes, and ongoing business transformation efforts.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of experience in trust and securities operational functions
- Five to seven years of management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Experience in Class Actions, Proxy, Asset Servicing, Custody Operations, or Securities Processing.

- Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience leading complex or multi-site teams.

- Experience managing managers preferred.

- Knowledge of domestic and global markets, DTC, and securities operations.

- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to lead teams through change and drive operational excellence.

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00
