DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute as an Account Manager III. You will increase revenue and build lasting relationships with customers while representing our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services. Working in a supportive environment that values achievement and innovation, you'll help enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
In this role, you will develop and implement strategic sales plans, manage key account relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through consultative selling. You'll work with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs while achieving sales targets. Through a combination of customer visits and virtual engagement, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to help customers advance their scientific goals. Territory includes accounts in the Upper Midwest states (Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota).

This role is selling our Olink products, responsible for developing and managing new and existing high-level customers within a mix of accounts, academia (clinicians, professors, etc.) and industry (Pharma/Biotech) & service labs (CROs). The position focuses on achieving short and long-term sales objectives by identifying customer needs and providing solutions to create a long-term partnership between the customer and Olink, PSX Division of ThermoFisher Scientific. We require scientific sales individuals who can communicate with customers at a well-informed and professional level offering them solutions to try and address their research questions related to understanding real-time biology, stratifying diseases, and developing drugs. 


REQUIREMENTS:
• BS degree plus a mix of 5 years of sales experience / laboratory bench scientific experience, or healthcare industries
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related scientific field
• Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels
• Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite
• Analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50-75% within assigned territory

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Minnesota is $85,000.00–$127,800.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
