Job description

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations - from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled and high-performing Executive Assistant to support the Billing Leadership team. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while prioritizing and executing on tasks that have an impact across multiple teams. You will be an experienced planner and coordinator with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently. You must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, drive improvements for a geographically dispersed team, and understand handling of confidential information and be trusted to maintain data privacy. You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture. This role must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.
This role requires five (5) days a week in office.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars and scheduling with diplomacy and discretion.
- Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner.
- Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, on-sites/off-sites, team social events, etc.)
- Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation.
- Create detailed travel itineraries both domestic and international (including smooth transitions between time zones).
- Coordinate with in-house travel agents and manage international travel process.
- Submit expense reports in a timely fashion.
- Coordinate closely with Recruiting teams, Facilities team, HR team, and other Executive Assistants within the Amazon community.
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on overdue items to include meeting notes and action items.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with executive level calendar management

- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience managing multiple calendars

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
