Job description

Event Safety Officer

Valor Protection Safety Agency is currently seeking Event Safety Officers to join our Auxiliary Event Staffing Team. Officers will be deployed on an as-needed basis to support security and safety operations at various events. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, professional, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Officers will work alongside trained supervisors and security personnel to maintain order and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

For this contract, officers must be available to travel to South Carolina for event assignments. Transportation will be provided. All assigned events for this contract will take place in South Carolina. Applicants must be available for the following dates:

  • Friday, March 27
  • Saturday, April 11
  • Saturday, April 18

Additional event dates may be added as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a visible security presence at assigned event locations
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas
  • Assist with access control, credential checks, and guest support
  • Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
  • Respond to incidents or emergencies calmly and professionally
  • Communicate with supervisors, team members, and event staff
  • Follow site-specific post orders and safety procedures
  • Complete incident reports or event logs when required
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Strong communication and situational awareness skills
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation to local deployment points
  • Valid security license (or willingness to obtain before first assignment)
  • Access to a cell phone and email for scheduling updates
