Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Protection in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Working as part of a team, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to each shift while helping keep daily operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entry points, trailer yards, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access activity involving associates, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, helping to verify authorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior, damaged barriers, and/or policy concerns.
  • Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
