In this roleyouwillsupport thedelivery ofsubstationdetaileddesignprojectsfrom the conceptual phase through design completionfor electric utilities,contractorsand developers. You will be the technical interface with clientsand internal team members.
This position can be worked out of ourNew York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Boston or Chicago offices.
The Opportunity:
  • Performthe engineering design, technical strategy, and delivery of HVand EHVsubstationprojectsfor power utilities and for the interconnection of renewables and data centers.
  • PreparesubstationP&Cdesign packagesincludingsingle-line diagrams,protection and control schematics, elementary and wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications,control houselayout,cableschedules,relay panel front and rear layout,cable traylayoutandbills of materialsto quality,timeand budget requirements.
  • Support insubstation studies and calculationsincludingAC auxiliary system sizing, battery sizingandvoltage drop.
  • Provide construction support and inter-disciplinary coordination.
