Job description

ITG Communications is hiring for Quality Control Technician, Tukwila, WA.
The Quality Control Technician Fulfilment is responsible for performing field audits, inspections, and quality checks on completed installations and service work. This role ensures compliance with company standards, client requirements, and safety regulations while supporting continuous improvement in technician performance and service
quality.
Responsibilities
Conduct field audits and inspections of completed installations, service calls, and technician work
Evaluate work quality against client specifications, company standards, and safety requirements
Identify defects, installation errors, and compliance issues, and document findings accurately
Provide real-time feedback and coaching to technicians in the field
Verify proper installation of broadband, video, and voice services, including wiring, equipment setup, and signal quality
Ensure adherence to SLA requirements, job scope, and customer experience standards
Complete audit reports, documentation, and photo validation using company systems
Support retraining efforts by identifying recurring quality issues and trends
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process standardization efforts
Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, client standards, and company policies
  • Key Measures / Key Performance Indicators:
    Audit accuracy and inspection completion rates
    Identification and reduction of repeat service issues
    Quality compliance scores and defect rates
    Technician improvement following coaching/retraining
    Documentation accuracy and timeliness
    Contribution to overall service quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements
  • PERSON OVERVIEW
    Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    Experience:
    2 4 years of experience in telecom installation, service, or field operations
    Exposure:
    Field operations in telecom, broadband, or service delivery environments
    Installation standards, wiring practices, and customer equipment setup
    Quality assurance processes and audit procedures
  • Interaction with technicians, supervisors, and customers in field environments
  • Factors critical to success at ITG Communications for this position:
    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
    Ability to identify issues and provide constructive feedback and coaching
    Solid understanding of installation standards and customer experience expectations
    Effective communication with field teams and leadership
    Commitment to safety and compliance standards
    Physical Requirements
    Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
    Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
    Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces
    Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75 pounds
    Ability to operate tools and construction equipment safely
    Ability to work in all weather conditions and wear required PPE
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and operate company vehicles safely
