Mechanical Design Engineer
Itasca,IL
$30-$40/hr depending on experience

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to develop complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Create preliminary and final designs, drawings, and BOMs
  • Manage projects and meet key milestones on time
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, and vendors
  • Troubleshoot design/manufacturing issues and lead root-cause solutions
  • Support continuous improvement and new product development
  • Occasional domestic/international travel
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical design skills
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar) and AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to produce accurate, first-time-right designs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Outlook and ERP systems
