The Raytheon Finance Estimating and Pricing (E&P) team has an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join the System Strategy & Data Analytics group within the E&P Tools and Training team.  This role will perform project management, technical development, and sustainment of both internally developed and externally procured applications used in the proposal process.  This includes system support for ProPricer Contractor Edition, Twenty5 iPE,  and any future developed or procured systems.  In addition, this position will help implement automation with internally developed tools and models to drive efficiency throughout the proposal development process.  This role provides exposure to the front end of the business and requires strong problem solving, project management, and partnering skill sets.

What You Will Do

  • Maintenance and support of the ProPricer pricing and estimating system.
  • Support the development of tools that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal process through scripting, modeling, and designing workflows and database schemas.
  • Perform “as required”/ad-hoc analysis to support the E&P organization with system related questions.
  • Test new internal and external tool capabilities and support business case development for initiatives aligned with the E&P technology roadmap. 
  • Facilitate training sessions and prepare guidance documentation for the E&P organization that effectively break down complex topics into simple, actionable steps.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Experience with the ProPricer system.
  • Professional experience in a related finance role
  • ​U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Forward thinking mindset with strong analytical, project management, problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience building cost models.
  • Foundational financial acumen, including Raytheon cost collection, rate build up, and support pools.
  • Ability to summarize findings and present analysis to peers and management.
  • Proposal analyst or related experience.
  • Strong demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI/Query, Apps, and Automate).
  • Interest in learning coding languages such as Python and VBA,  and exploring ways to leverage emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Snowflake.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
