What is a property maintenance inspector?

Property maintenance inspectors are professionals responsible for assessing and ensuring that residential, commercial, or industrial properties meet local housing and safety codes. They perform routine inspections to identify any issues related to building maintenance, safety hazards, or code violations. Their duties include documenting their findings, recommending repairs or improvements, and sometimes following up to ensure issues are resolved. Property maintenance inspectors play a crucial role in maintaining property values and ensuring safe, habitable conditions for occupants.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a property maintenance inspector?

To thrive as a Property Maintenance Inspector, you need a strong understanding of building codes, property regulations, and inspection procedures, often supported by relevant certifications or experience in construction or facilities management.
