Join our team as a Property Inspector at Scottsdale Rentals!
We are looking for a fast paced, detail-oriented inspector who will play a dual role supporting both property operations and guest experience excellence. This position assists in maintaining high standards of property management-ensuring properties are clean, functional, and guest-ready-while also supporting the Guest Services team at times to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, service-oriented professional capable of managing day-to-day property and guest communications, resolving concerns promptly, and collaborating cross-functionally to uphold the company's operational and hospitality standards.
Requirements
Property Inspection Responsibilities:
- Commuting to and from properties in your respective territory.
- Performing inspections for cleaning and maintenance issues.
- Performing minor maintenance services.
- Reporting large maintenance issues to respective departments.
- Preparing properties for guest and owner arrivals.
- Managing property inventory and staging.
- Communicating effectively with internal departments, guests, owners, and vendors as needed.
- Delivering needed items to guests.
Guest Experience Responsibilities:
- Answer calls, emails, and texts directed to the guest services team from in-house guests, team members, and others.
- Communicate updates and issues to in-house guests and other team members.
- Report, assign, and schedule maintenance and general tasks to our property management team.
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns with enthusiasm, empathy, and warmth.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all software and systems used in the guest services environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of minor maintenance and repair tasks is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, kneel, and squat to effectively inspect properties.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity and coordination to handle tools and equipment for minor maintenance repairs.
- Ability to navigate stairs, ladders, uneven terrain, and various property layouts.
- Visual acuity to evaluate maintenance issues, cleanliness standards, and inventory levels.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to varying temperatures and working conditions.
Schedule:
- This is a full-time position. Working days are Sunday through Saturday with scheduled shifts based on business needs.
- Weekend work is required.
