Position Overview

ACS is seeking a Full-Time Public Adjuster to join our growing team in Wisconsin. This role is responsible

for advocating on behalf of clients throughout the insurance claims process from initial evaluation through

final settlement.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical claims expertise with a client-focused advisory mindset,

helping individuals and businesses mitigate financial loss while navigating complex and often high-stakes

claim situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage applicability and limitations
  • Conduct on-site inspections and assess property damage, including property and business interruption losses
  • Prepare, document, and present detailed claims packages with supporting evidence
  • Negotiate claim settlements directly with insurance carriers on behalf of clients
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the claims lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners (consultants, attorneys, contractors)
  • Identify claim-related risks and contribute insights to broader risk management strategies
  • Maintain compliance with all state licensing requirements and regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in claims adjusting
  • Strong understanding of property insurance policies and claims processes
  • Proficiency with claims management systems and documentation tools
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to follow direction and apply guidance effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred (business, finance, or related field), but not required

Licensing Requirements

A Public Adjuster license is not required at the time of application; however, candidates must be eligible for and willing to obtain licensure as a condition of employment.

At ACS, we believe investing in our people drives our success. We offer a competitive Total Rewards package designed to support both professional growth and personal well-being.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based bonuses and profit-sharing opportunities
  • Flexible work arrangements, including flex time and floating holidays
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA), where eligible
  • Generous paid time off, including:
  • 10 days PTO
  • 11 company holidays
  • 3 floating holidays
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Continuing education and professional development support, including potential education allowances
  • Lifestyle Spending Account ($500 annually, prorated based on start date)
