Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is actively hiring experienced CDL-A Jumbo Propane Drivers based in Port Huron, Michigan.

This isn't a standard tanker driving job. As a member of our specialized Propane Division, you'll operate 160,000 lb multi-axle Jumbo propane transports, haul year-round freight, and join a company that has been trusted by customers and drivers for more than 40 years.

Responsibilities
  • Operate specialized 160,000 lb Jumbo propane transports
  • Transport propane (UN1075) throughout Michigan and surrounding regional service areas
  • Safely load and unload propane using pumping equipment
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Complete ELDs and shipping documentation
  • Maintain hoses, valves, placards, and tanker equipment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining DHT's industry-leading safety standards
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required (Drivers holding the combined X endorsement are encouraged to apply.)
  • Minimum two years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
  • Experience hauling propane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuels, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities is strongly preferred but not required
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background requirements
  • Ability to safely work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
