In this role, you may help maintain your delivery vehicle, use a handheld terminal to account for funds and inventory, maintain vehicle records, interact with customers, answer common questions, and occasionally participate in on-call rotations for emergency deliveries. Some propane drivers inspect, repair, and load tanks. Hours can vary, and companies often ask propane drivers to work evening and weekend hours during peak propane season. Propane drivers perform most of their job inside a vehicle, but this position does require some heavy lifting in all weather conditions and temperatures.
