In addition to driving and delivering, they may inspect tanks, perform minor maintenance, and ensure all safety regulations are followed. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a propane delivery driver?

To thrive as a Propane Delivery Driver, you need a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with hazardous materials endorsement, a clean driving record, and knowledge of safe fuel handling procedures. Familiarity with route planning software, fuel delivery systems, and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is commonly required.
