OverviewRotational Development Program
The Rotational Development Program is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build experience in operations, analytics, marketing, and product in a cross-functioning, collaborative environment. By participating in the Rotational Program, you will gain a diverse set of skills that will help you understand inter-departmental relationships and identify the career path that best suits your skills and career aspirations. This rotational program typically consists of three, 9-month rotations and is based in either Bridgewater, NJ or Reston, VA (hybrid, 3x a week in the office).Responsibilities

Responsibilities by Department:

Under the direct supervision and mentorship of a supervisor within TNS's Market Team, you'll work on key deliverables, which will provide added value to the company.

Sales

  • Supports the TNS global sales team with customer facing value propositions, customer communications and relationship management tools (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Conducts research on target industry verticals, voice of the customer, existing clients and prospects to uncover anew sales opportunities

  • Develops sales & marketing strategies to achieve sales growth targets

  • Partners cross-functionally with internal, TNS teams (Marketing, Product, Finance & Legal) to facilitate sales programs and operations

  • Develops understanding of TNS and competitive solutions in the telecommunications marketplace

  • Participates in professional development opportunities to enhance business acumen

  • Communicates regularly with Executives, Managers, and co-workers in formal and informal settings

Product

  • Work with Product Line Manager (PLM) to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Develop and manage information to support corporate decision making

  • Assist PLM to create reports for internal teams and/or external clients

  • Create and assist with presentations and reports based on recommendations

  • Assist in the development of Go-To-Market plans

  • Assist in the development of the required collateral and target event attendance

  • Support product manager with translating customer requirements into technical requirementsand work with development organization to deliver product enhancements

  • Attend customer meetings and work with Sales and program teams to help develop strategies to address market

  • Shadow and attend industry meetings, as applicable, to assigned product(s)

Marketing

  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings and present key insights.

  • Attend competitive and or 3rd party webinars and provide high level summary of key insights

  • Conduct research and development of future projects and events (collaborates internally)

  • Refresh sales enablement materials (messaging, videos, FAQs, qualification docs, collateral, web and social content)

  • Help capture company and product value prop and modernizes customer interactions

  • Assist with empower library, PowerPoint updates

  • Collaborate in event planning

  • Aid in various competitive analysis (new product releases, mergers/acquisitions, etc.)

  • Help scribe on financial quarterly conferences

  • Buyer journey and persona support

  • Support with Pardot, LinkedIn, Facebook and others as needed for social marketing

  • Aid with Asana project entries, marketing calendar and related tasks

  • Assist in Salesforce Library for posting and sharing sales tools

Commercial Ops

  • Support reviewing, documenting and prioritizing changes to business processes enabling more efficient Quote to Cash processing, new customer implementation and onboarding, customer renewal and retention, collections and other associated business processes.

  • Help to Create, implement and manage a roadmap of planned business process changes coordinated across the COM business and other key internal stakeholders, ensuring effective processes are in place to support existing products, and continually evolving to meet new business demands.

  • Learn and help to define the end to end Quote to Cash Process to ensure timely and accurate contract completion, customer vetting, service implementation, and order processing and preparation for invoicing and payment across our products

  • Help to create metrics and create periodic reports on customer support and issue resolution, utilization of our solutions, customer retention, and other customer insights

  • Support cross-functional alignment including training and collaboration to drive process efficiency

Requirements

  • Recent college graduate (BA/BS in business, marketing, communications, product marketing or other related field)

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Prior internships/experience in business/sales/marketing environment preferred

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Quick learner and detail-oriented

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Knowledge of current trends and new developments in customer communications, product marketing, telecom trends

  • Ability to travel as needed (10%)

  • For this role, we anticipate paying $75,000 - $80,000 annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. TNS offers a competitive benefit package including medical and dental coverage, life insurance, paid holidays and vacations, and a 401K plan with company match.
