Job description

Overview

The Customer Relations and Price Control Senior Specialist represents Hyundai Mobis Alabama to its customers. The incumbent provides data, pricing, and product information to the customer, implements and updates required price changes, and organizes and reports tooling costs and new/changed part costs as new vehicle projects are embarked upon.

Responsibilities
  • Show customer support by providing information for pricing and miscellaneous reports, etc.
  • Track temporary pricing and pricing errors until permanent pricing is established
  • Analyze and track Bill of Material (BOM) errors
  • Provide support with tooling assets reimbursement and disposals
  • Support engineering order (EO) meetings and monitor potential cost impacts
  • Gather and organize new project tooling/EO and cost data from suppliers, submit analysis summaries to the customer, and respond to requests for additional data
  • Provide data and reports to customers as requested
  • Provide cost quotations to customers for proposed engineering changes
  • Prompt, regular, predictable attendance
  • Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
  • Overtime and weekend work as required
  • All other job duties as assigned

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: No 

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering related field
  • Master's Degree in Business or related field
  • SAP Experience (Sales SAP Module; Tracking and Analysis of Price Changes)
  • Experience in the automotive industry
