What are promotional models?

Promotional models are individuals hired to represent a brand, product, or company at events, trade shows, or marketing campaigns. Their main role is to engage with potential customers, distribute promotional materials, and create a positive brand image. As a promotional model, you model to promote a product or brand. You might pose for photographs, staff a booth at a promotional location, or appear in marketing materials like commercials or magazine advertisements. Other duties can include wearing a brand’s clothing, making appearances at designated venues, and interacting with targeted consumer groups. Agencies often source promotional models for brands based on consumer preferences as a means of driving the public’s demand for a product or service, and your responsibilities include making the product look appealing.
