Join HGA's CWG team as an Architectural Project Manager and experienced Project Architect in one of our Northern California offices. We are seeking a highly motivated architectural professional who brings both strong project leadership and technical expertise to successfully deliver projects from concept through completion.

  • Maintains exceptional organization and project management skills.
  • Effectively delegates work, mentors team members, and leverages resources efficiently.
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment where project priorities and workloads may shift quickly.
  • Makes strategic decisions that support project success, team health, and long-term client relationships rather than simply managing to project metrics.

In this role you will:

  • Independently manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
  • Develop and oversee project work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
  • Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and code compliance throughout all phases.

  • Lead presentations, facilitate approvals, and translate client goals into actionable strategies.

Team Coordination

  • Direct and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Coordinate consultants and stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.

Documentation & Administration

  • Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation in line with firm standards.

What you will need to have:

  • Professional degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
  • Architectural licensure preferred or in progress.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of building codes, construction methods, and project delivery.

Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted.
