Job description

Overview
The Project Manager manages a large book of customer projects. The Project Manager ensures assigned projects are completed on time, within budget, and within scope. The Project Manager provides the level of customer engagement required by type of project and specific customer to ensure the customer's needs and expectations are met. They focus on creating a positive customer experience.
The Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and successful completion of both transactional and more complex projects. This position works closely with test engineers, lab department managers and the publications department to ensure that all project tasks are completed on time. Self-supervision is required while managing a high volume of projects and implementing corrective actions
Salary: $80,000- $100,000/yr DOE
Responsibilities
The PM is responsible for all assigned test project's lifecycles from project opening, schedule adjustments, the scope of work including all changes of scope, to invoicing and project close out. The PM will be responsible for test costs, project revenue tracking, and all project tasks and resources. The Project Manager is responsible for managing interdivisional projects with other Element facilities.
  • The PM will be responsible for the management of all project data and documentation across multiple systems, including but not limited to financial and operating systems, scheduling in the scheduling tool VLAB, as well as data and report sharing portals.
  • They are responsible for ensuring all test procedures are up to date and available for the lab to use for testing.
  • They are responsible for invoicing and revenue tracking.
  • The PM will manage all project schedules and communicate progress to clients and the element project team.
  • They will advise clients on the project cost, program, delays, and issues.
  • The PM is responsible for managing the scope of work and putting costs back on customers for additional services.
  • Tracking COS that has been submitted to the customer and ensure we receive an updated PO in a timely manner.
  • They are responsible for all communication with customers and internal element team/stake holders.
